Jackie’s involvement in elder care began in the early nineties as a caregiver to her in-laws and later to her mother, after the sudden death of her father in 2000. The knowledge she shares comes not from a degree in nursing or social work but from her first hand experiences of spending countless hours in the hospital with her elder parents and learning how to navigate the often overwhelming environment of a hospital while watching over those she loves.
She lives in beautiful north Idaho with her husband and a sweet old Border Collie/Healer names Sophie.
